Dear Parents:
Forcey Christian Middle School is pleased to announce that 7th and 8th grade students will be able to choose among the following electives for the 2007-2008 school year:  Band, Worship Arts, Yearbook, Chess Club, Book Club, and Crafts.  8th Graders may also select Art.  All electives are scheduled to meet one period a week for the entire school year.

 

  • Mrs. Alice Hess will return as the band instructor.  There will be a $30/month fee associated with this class.  For more information about the band program, please contact Mrs. Hess at Obplayer@excite.com or call her at 301-384-0722.
  • Mrs. Kennedy will teach the worship arts class, which needs actors, script writers, singers, and praise band players who will perform in chapels monthly.
  • Miss Morrill will lead the yearbook class.
  • Miss Jones will teach the crafts class.
  • Mr. Wellman will direct the chess club.
  • Mrs. Moraz will facilitate the book club.
  • Mrs. French will teach the art class.  There will be a one-time $50 materials fee.  This class is for 8th graders only.

Please fill out the bottom of this form, indicating both your first (1) and second choice (2), and return it to the school by August 17 or email your two choices to Suzie Marchetti, the FCMS secretary at secretarysuzie-fcms@yahoo.com by August 17.  Choices not received by 8/17 are less likely to receive first choice.  If a second choice is not given, one may be chosen for your child.
